The Den sits on West Main Street in the heart of Sedalia — a place where neighbors still stop and say hello. We bake sourdough the old way, stock shelves with products from Missouri farms, and treat every customer like they're walking into someone's kitchen.

No corporate playbook. No frozen dough. Just flour, water, salt, time, and the people who live here.

Our Story

We opened The Den because Sedalia deserved a place
that felt like home.

There's a difference between a store and a place people want to be. We built The Den to be the latter — a bakery and grocery that serves the people who walk down West Main Street every day.

Our bread is fermented for 48 hours. Our coffee is roasted to order. Our shelves are stocked by people who actually live in Pettis County and care about what they put in their homes.

If you're looking for perfection, you won't find it here. If you're looking for something real — something made by hand and sold with honesty — pull up a chair.
